I decided to walk around Lincoln Park a little bit to break in my new sneakers.
I kinda went houndstooth crazy with my outfit.
The t-shit I’m wearing is a boy’s tee that I cropped.
I love the acorn necklace I’m wearing…pretty much because I’m obsessed with Peter Pan.

(shirt: Nike, shorts: Victoria’s Secret, tights: Hue, sneakers: Nikes, mismatched earrings: Top Shop)

  8. Awesome street style, you make me think about the 90′s! I personally think that alot of fashion from the 90′s is really good and so underrated! You’re face suits it too!

  9. Very interesting and unique. Congrats!

  10. Covetting the houndstooth leggings – fabulous!

  11. These photos are amazing! I’m uber impressed and congrats on being Freshly Pressed!

  12. Awesome post with a great mix of street and fashion : )

  13. Really exquisite. I loved the houndstooth tights. Such a fabulous – and often forgotten – texture.

  14. Fashion has broke free from boundaries, forget boundaries and hello imagination. Awesome photography by the way.

Awesome shots, and loving your quirky styling but the Nikes kill it for me. I find their design (not to mention their use of sweatshop labour) jarring. How about something like this (http://www.traidremade.com/collections/shoes) next time?
Oop-just saw your about section-nevermind XD

  22. awesome post, love everything, especially the glasses (is it a pair of glasses you remade?) it looks super cool :)

    • jennifermdarling

thanks so much! and you’re right- the glasses are just a pair of 3D glasses from the movies that I covered in duct tape and then made some little hearts to go on over the lenses for a pop of color.

  23. Not a big fan of sneakers, but this pictorial is a game changer :-) )
