As I’ve said way too many times before, there are very few things better than Chicago summers.
After the long winter, all you want to do is be on a patio and enjoy some day drinking.
There are free concerts in Millennium Park and plenty of music festivals.
The beaches are filled to the brim and Lakeshore bike path is the desired route of transportation anywhere.
Yesterday was a beautiful Chicago summer day.
I started off the summer festivities at The Cubby Bear, a bar across from Wrigley Field.
Then my friends and I enjoyed ball park food, people watching, and a rare Cubs victory.
(Note the Cubs sneakers I spotted while I was waiting in line.)
Later that night, I sported my Threadless ghost lover’s Tee and some KD3s while I made my way to the Beer Olympics at a friend’s house.
Of course I was lame and didn’t watch the opening ceremonies. but um. USA!!!!!
