Today I went to a concert at UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
I must say, although I love listening to The National, they were kind of a snooze-fest to sit through.
I’m sure it didn’t help that I only got 2 hours of sleep last night.
They are just so mellow it seems a bit strange to see them perform in a big arena.
Arcade Fire was good (for the most part) and a bit cocky.
It was still a good concert though,
and a good night- filled with Greek food, music, and dancing.
There was an ordeal with my camera though.
I was unaware that I couldn’t bring my camera into the concert.
(and I felt a bit dumb for not knowing that)
So I had to cab home, drop my camera off, and head back to the concert before it started.
AH! so pardon the quality of these shots- they are all from my Droid.
Enjoy the modern look. I really liked this content. Credit for a excellent blog post.
