So my best friend, Liz, loves Coca-Cola the way I love Nike. What’s better than two best friends taking pictures of stuff they love?! (take note of how cool her shadows are pretty please!)
Today I went sight seeing in my hometown’s downtown. These pictures were taken at a little store called The Mercantile. When you’re used to downtown Chicago, it can be a bit of a culture shock. Gotta love East Texas. Since I haven’t lived here in 5 years, I have to admit I got lost for a little. I don’t know if that means I’m getting old or that I just have a bad sense of direction. Can you tell I […]
I’ve been trying to take advantage of being out of the city by changing up my workout routine. Yesterday I went to a playground and goofed off on the bars for a bit. Then I rans some hills to push myself in my running. I really enjoyed it (except for the heat). I’m excited to see what I come up with today as far as being active goes. It’s funny to me that I’ve never been so active in […]

A few years ago, they stopped the digging process so that people could come in and see the bones where they had been found. There were only a few of the 26 mammoths found left on the site. The ones that were completely removed […]

They are called River Vessels by Patrick Dougherty and were created to show primitive ways in an accelerated world. Each structure was made entirely out of willow branches with out any form of glue, nails, or twine. How awesome is that?! The site was breathtaking. I was like a giddy child running around them, snapping pictures as I went. […]
I spent some time in Waco this weekend. This is the highest point in Cameron Park (which is a seriously cool park in central Texas) called Lover’s Leap. What a beautiful summer day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
