I don’t know if you’ve heard the sad news yet, but Cy Twombly passed away this past Tuesday in Rome at the age of 83 from cancer.
If you’ve never seen his work– you should check it out.
He inspired so much of my work during college.
I feel as though his work opened my eyes to the close relationship between drawing and painting.
(And because of that realization, I think his contributions to the world will forever inspire me- for that I am so grateful.)
