I was down in Wicker Park for a while yesterday.
My first stop was the Carhartt store for a bit of blog work,
then I salivated over some sneakers at St. Alfred’s.
I also got a few new things to read at Myopic Books.
I’m really excited to read the book by Christy Brown.
He was an Irish author, poet, and artist with cerebral palsy– and could only write, type, and paint with his left foot.
Next I hit up the juice bar where I got a spinach, kale, carrot juice smoothie.
I know, I know– it sounds gross. but I thought it was good!
When I got back home, I got the latest CMYK in the mail.
Wahoo!! A few more of my pictures are published!!
(I’m wearing a skirt from Urban Outfitters, a basic grey Tee, sunglasses from Forever, an Anthropologie belt, and my blue chips.)
Congratulations– your Nikes and you went to a real bookstore, Sally
Keep doing classy and colorful blog stuff, your very good at it with a good photog.Interesting stuff.. God bless.
FYI: My Left Foot was Christy Brown’s autobiography; the excellent 1989 film of the same name was directed by Jim Sheridan and starred Daniel Day-Lewis
I recently watched it and I LOVED it!
I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!
