sweet, sweet Texas…
There’s nothing like sipping on lemonade by a lake.
I was just in Fredericksburg for a dear friend’s wedding.
A big group of us stayed in a quaint little cottage right off the main street downtown.
Picturesque doesn’t even begin to describe it.
We went on a day long wine tour, ate some great Texan food, and soaked up the warm weather.
I’m beyond obsessed with the Tokyo sky highs from the fashion week collection.
I saw the sneakers in a whole new light while I was down south.
When I first bought them, I loved how sci-fi they looked.
In Texas, I started seeing how the shoe has some nature-like aspects to it as well.
The robin’s egg blue on the tongue Β is a dead give away.
But when I saw the shoe sitting next to a morpho butterfly, I couldn’t help but see the similarities.
The nude, canvas material has a very earthy quality about it as well.
I now affectionately refer to my Tokyo sky highs as my morpho shoes.
It’s amazing that a sneaker can seem so science fiction in one setting and so natural in another.
