Maybe you remember that I was in Munich for Oktoberfest. Well, I got to go back and spend a little more time in the beautiful city. Of course, I made my way to the original Hofbrauhaus. It dates back to the 16th century and smelled a bit of barf, understandably so.
There are plenty of little outdoor shops to peruse during the day in The Viktualienmarkt. And you can get a great view of the city if you climb the bell tower at St. Peter’s Church. I also had a wonderful meal and my absolute favorite beer at Wirsthaus Ayingers. Don’t miss it if you’re in town!

In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus:

If you thought Munich is a jumping place during Oktoberfest, during Fasching (German version of Mardi Gras) anything goes. Think of anything, it happens. 🙂
I like those fluorescent orange sneakers … I would certainly hope they were Nikes. There is no way you can get lost wearing those. 🙂
oh really? I’ve never heard of Fasching before. I’ll have to look into it!
And yes, those fluorescent sneakers were Nikes. I spotted those two friends wearing matching shoes and had to take a photo.
Thanks for stopping by!
