Back in Boulder

Boulder is a quaint town, perfectly nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. With a strong western vibe and all the chillness a city can possibly possess, the relaxing atmosphere really takes hold. Avery Brewing is a short drive from downtown, and it’s well worth renting a car or taking an uber to it. Back in KC, I can get my hands on some of their beers, but I got to try a few new ones while out there.

  • Smoosh (brewed with Australian hops)
  • Chowdah (an East Coast IPA–OH so good!)
  • Whales Only (a gose made with cucumber, watermelon, and lime)
  • Bug Zapper (sour beer with mint, ginger and lime)

Oh, and don’t miss the sunrise on the Flatirons. You’ll be so stoked to see it.

I took the sneakers above white water rafting (as you’ll see in the next post)…now I really need to retire them. 😦
