The Journey to Boulder, By Way of Nederland

For being a small city, with a population hovering just above 1,500, Nederland is a well-known part of Colorado. It hosts Frozen Dead Guy Days. You can read more about the fascinating celebration here. While we didn’t enjoy the odd festivities, we did go on a lovely hike, then got back on the road to Boulder. While there, we walked along Pearl Street, stopped in at Post Brewery and drove to Vision Quest Brewery. Their Industrial Parks Politics IPA is deliciously hazy. Of course, we ended the night watching the sun set atop the Flatirons.
