he asked and she said, “hell yes!”

Well my little love bugs, I have some big news… I’m engaged! Can you believe it?! We threw an engagement party the other night with very personalized decorations. The Nike footsteps share a bit of our story. I came from Texas, and he came from Pittsburgh. We met in Chicago and fell in love!
I made a giant replica of my ring, complete with Ceylon Sapphire. How gorgeous is that?! I’ve always known I didn’t want a diamond engagement ring, but I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. He picked it out all on his own and I love it!
There was also a good bit of wire bending going on. See how I made the word sculptures here. The evening ended with a couples cake stand. (kinda like a keg stand… but much more chocolate-y) What do you think?!
what I wore: Tokyo Sky Hi Sneaker Wedges, Banana Republic Dress, Ann Taylor Cardigan, and a nice strand of pearls
