I spent the weekend with my sweet parents in Dallas a while back. We stayed in a delightful little AirBnB (take a look at it here). It’s been so long since I’ve visited the DFW area, and I was surprised how much it changed. The Deep Ellum District is a really fun spot with lots of art to see and things to do. I’m apparently the last person from Texas to find out about it. It has a strong Austin-vibe and it never hurts to be surrounded by breweries.
If I didn’t know about Deep Ellum, you can be twice as sure I was unaware of The Arts District. I’ve been to the Dallas Museum of Art a few times before, but it’s always fun to go back (and it’s free to get in!). After the museum, we hung out at the Klyde Warren Park. The streets are lined with food trucks, and there’s plenty of space to sit and chill.
Thanks for showing us a good time, Dallas.
You take lovely photos!!
Thank you so much!
Nice post! Lived in Dallas all my life and I have to say after seeing nineteen states and countless other Texas counties D-town is the best place to call home. Just my Texan pride coming out here though😉
glad you enjoyed!!
