I just threw a pirate birthday party, complete with a giant treasure map,
treasure chests, gummy bears, inflatable beards, and cupcake stands. (in lue of keg stands, of course)
I wanted to dress accordingly, so I wore a blue dress from Target. Check out the wave-like pattern on it!
I paired it with a pair of my Liberty of London Sky Highs, perhaps with the kind of pattern you’d see on a pirate’s bandana.
It’s a lot of work, but handmade party decorations are the best. Make it personal. Make it fun.
