Weston is a tiny little town, just outside Kansas City, Missouri. With a population of 1,641, it’s absolutely the kind of town where everyone knowns each other’s names. First, we stopped in at the Weston Red Barn Farm. You can pick apples, pet animals, and shop at their general store. Then we grabbed a bite to eat at Green Dirt Farm. This place is great! It’s a deli and sheep milk creamery. What’s better than a sheep’s milk grilled cheese on a chilly fall day? You can also do a wine tasting while you’re there. Next we hit up O’Malley and Son for a little underground drinking. This Irish Pub is in an underground cave that dates back to 1887. There is live music and great company.
After that we went hiking in Weston Bend State Park, right along the Missouri River.
If you’re going out for a visit, make sure to catch the sunset. Those wide open skies make some mean cloud formations.
Loved this photo diary – the colors in Autumn are so beautiful!
(The sheriff looks like Mitch from Modern Family 😭 )

Just make sure those cloud formations aren’t taking you to Oz. 🙂
