Tamborine Mountain in the Scenic Rim of Queensland Australia, is a beautiful rainforest, with tons of vegetation and waterfalls. We stayed in the small town for a few days and soon discovered it’s home to some of the sweetest folks. It seems to be a great little weekend getaway for the people who live in Brisbane.
After hiking at Curtis and Witches Falls, we made friends at Fortitude Brewery and joined them for a delicious bbq dinner at Hickory. It was honestly one of the the best meals we ate in Australia! There was live music and after it was over, everyone sat around and chatted. I was overwhelmed by how welcoming and kind each person we encountered was.
Eamon and I stayed at a great bed and breakfast, Avocado Sunrise, and really enjoyed it. The couple who owned it were so hospitable. We had great conversations and gorgeous views. In the morning we stopped off at Mountain Brew Cafe for cappuccino and a snack before heading out to the Gold Coast. (stick around to see photos from that little excursion)
