Last week, I spent time in Minneapolis for work. Oh my goodness, it was cold! It got down to -9 degrees. I took off my jacket off for the first few pictures above and almost died. Although the temperatures were harrowing, the city was still quite lovely. I felt as though I was returning to a tropical paradise when I got back to Chicago, and that’s never a good sign. So excited to be headed to Texas soon. Then I’ll really be able to get some warmth in my bones.

Well honey? Try living out in the boonies where I live. Just south of Winnipeg, 400 miles north of Minneapolis. It has been so cold, I had three forms of heat going on to keep my huge house warm. No kidding. But today it is only -1 Celsius. That would be about 32 Fahrenheit.
Lovin them boots or shoes. They look mighty warm and cozy.
