Huka Falls are a set of torrential waterfalls on the North Island of New Zealand. In the photos below, you get the fell for the water’s pace. What’s even crazier is that you can ride a jetboat down this thing. What’s a jetboat? Oh just a teeny tiny little speed boat that can navigate on only 4 inches of water. In true New Zealand spirit, Kiwis drive these little devils, loaded with screaming tourists, around like there isn’t a rock or a waterfall in sight. Only in New Zealand. It’s pretty amazing and terrifying. The American in me kept wonder, “wait–when are we going to sign a liability waiver?”

The photos are gorgeous!! I am sure you had tons of fun while you were there! Also, the thing with the jetboat sounds dangerous but also pretty cool?
