You guys might already be aware of my love for disposable cameras. I don’t know if it’s the crummy, low resolution aspect of picture taking or if it’s my nostalgia for the 90s that’s got me head over heels. It’s silly, I know. And it’s getting more and more absurd (especially as a photographer) to carry one of these suckers around in an age when even the 8 year old who lives next door has a GoPro. Below are some of […]
There are a lot of times that I don’t want to use my “fancy” camera. But when you’re used to the quality of a picture taken by a 5D, the typical iphone photo feels inadequate. My quick fix for that problem is to make the photo my own with an artistic twist. I thought I’d take some pictures of that before I put all the pieces back together. p.s. These […]
Lollapalooza is a music festival that’s been going on in Chicago since 1991. I went this past Friday to hear some great music, including Foster the People, Ratatat, Coldplay, and a bunch of others. Since most concerts don’t let cameras with detachable lenses in, I usually end up taking disposable cameras. The problem with disposable cameras is that the film can come off a bit boring. I decided to do something new and exciting to keep my photos from Lolla […]
