Pitchfork weekend has come and gone. It was fun. It was a blur. It was very muddy. From Future Islands to Run the Jewels, I was in heaven. Sleater Kinny, Caribou, & New Pornographers weren’t too shabby either. Future Islands is one of my favorite bands at the moment. If you haven’t heard of them, you have to check them out. Pitchfork 2012 has come and gone– with all the hipsters and musical festival lovers you could throw an ironic rock at. I went with my friend, Paige, on Sunday. and it was a blast! We saw some great bands– Real Estate, Beach House, and Vampire Weekend to name a few. Pitchfork is a music festival held in Chicago every summer. It lasts for 3 days. I went to the first two days and it was a blast. The talent blew me away and the atmosphere was great too- really laid back. There’s lots of music, beer, food, awesome clothes, and so many great sneakers.
