Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Chicago anymore. That’s right, folks. I made the move to Kansas City, MO. So far it’s been a blast with all the concerts, bike rides, breweries, farmers’ markets, and First Fridays. Get a feel for this mid-sized city as you scroll through the photos below. And if you’re already familiar with the area, give me tips on what to do there next. Cheers!
Happening upon the tiny coastal village of Doolin in County Clare was a happy accident. It was sunset and we were racing to catch any last few glimpses we could. Keep in mind, that booking it in Ireland as Americans is not that fast. The teeny-weeny roads are absolutely unforgiving. What we would consider a single lane back alley street is the only way to get around. Don’t get me wrong each winding turn is just as beautiful as the […]
I have thus declared October my adventure month of 2015. I’ll be traveling so much that I want to soak up what little time I have in Chicago. It’s been quite lovely here–I just had to share these shots with you. Now off I go! (p.s. Happy 500th Post from for-the-love-of-nike!!!!!)

Read the story behind this Mississippi Middleton Fingers shirt. Irreverent and comfy, just the way I […]

So I was in LA on Monday, enjoying life. That is until I had to fly back to Chicago that night. I went from a blissful 80 degrees to -12 degrees (which was supposedly -52 with the wind chill). Don’t pull out a calculator, your math is right. That’s a 92 degree difference in just a 4 hour flight. It’s amazing what that will do to one’s mood. Needless to say, I still ventured outside, 8 layers deep in clothing, […]
