Yellowstone is one of the oldest national parks in the world. President Ulysses S. Grant signed it into law in 1872. The park stretches across Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho, with scattered geothermic features spread across the land. Old Faithful, the most famous of the attractions, is a geyser that erupts every 91 minutes.
