I’m a big believer in ALWAYS packing in a carryon. Yes, that can be extremely tricky when you’re going somewhere for over a week–but it’s absolutely doable. For my Norwegian adventures, I decided I would bring two pairs of shoes. Both Nikes as you might have guessed–my sweet classic highs and these beauties: The matte grey with a gum bottom held up quite nicely, especially considering that I walked just a little over 180 miles during this trip. The leather […]
I got a new pair of sneakers in the mail yesterday–just in time to whip them out for the 3 day weekend. Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Premium (a name that rolls right off the tongue). The metallic leather surface is covered in little slits that give the pair a great texture. I love them. What do you think? Share your thoughts on these little babes. I’d love to hear!
My order has been shipped! I just got a new pair of floral roshe run sneakers and matching tights for my honeymoon. I CANNOT WAIT. Look out Puerta Vallarta, this little sneakerhead is coming your way soon. Let’s get tropical. Take a look for yourself:
In 1987 the Nike Air Max was born (in good company– I’m an ’87 baby myself). This beautiful sneaker, padded with a comfy cushion of air is one of my favorite types of shoes. It’s a relaxed style that also gives a good inch of a boost to all of those who like a little extra height. There has been quite a bit of hype in the sneaker community this past week about 3/26/15. Well here it is. Happy Air […]
I just got back from a quick trip tp Syracuse, New York. Not too much to report. It’s a small-feeling town surrounded by a good bit of nature. A few fall leaves were still hanging around, but for the most part, winter has already taken its first breath. I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find something interesting about the little city to share with y’all…but to no avail. Just take a look at the “little known facts” page on […]
I would post Montana pictures everyday if I could. Here are a few more snap shots from my trip. I thought I’d share a few of the travel hacks I’ve picked up over the years. The idea is to pack as light and smart as possible. Keep it simple and only bring along necessary items. Think about it, when you take a trip– what’s important to you? my travel essentials: a comfy pair of sneakers that are good for lots […]

Tinsley House in Bozeman, MT is over 100 years old, and life goes on about as if no time has passed since the day it was built. The entire structure was moved from its original location of Willow Creek so it could be near the Museum of the Rockies. A staff, dressed in the traditional garb of the day, runs the homestead. Fresh pies are baked daily, a metal smith and carpenter are on staff, maintaing the property, and the […]

Happy Fourth of July, y’all! Wrap yourself in an American flag, guzzle down a good brew, and watch the fireworks roar. This year, I’m celebrating in Sea Isle. Sun and sand make everything better. If you’re up to seeing a few of my other patriotic posts, take a look at this crafty gif and this red, white, and blue visor. May your holiday be filled with sea and beer froth alike. Outfit #1: Carhartt Men’s T-Shirt, Nike Shorts, Victoria’s Secret […]

After my recent helicopter adventure in Chicago, it was time to bring the excitement to the water. A few friends and I gathered for a birthday boat ride up and down the Chicago river, complete with the first cheesecake-stand on a boat. I started off as the captain… but believe it or not… I’m a horrible boat driver. So I relinquished the reins, and I think everyone (myself included) was much more at ease.
